Dan Johnson - Certified Financial Planner

Dan Johnson

Hailing from a humble small town near the Poconos in northeastern Pennsylvania, I’ve always understood the value of a dollar and the fruits that come from hard work and discipline. This ethos led me to the University of Pittsburgh, where I diligently earned a dual degree in business and economics, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts. But my academic journey didn’t end there. I went on to secure my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation (CFP®) from the prestigious College of Financial Planning.

Throughout the course of my 28-year-long career in the financial services industry, I’ve had the privilege of being associated with esteemed companies. These include Charles Schwab, US Bank as a portfolio manager in its Wealth Management group, and Fidelity Investments, where I served as a vice president and financial consultant. The common thread across all these roles? My unwavering focus is on catering to the needs of high-net-worth clients and providing them with tailored financial and investment planning solutions.

On the personal front, I’ve been happily married to my wife, Patti, for 25 years. We are proud parents to two stepsons and doting grandparents to five grandkids, with another bundle of joy soon to join our family. When I’m not helping clients navigate their financial futures, you’ll find me indulging in fitness activities, enjoying a round of golf, embarking on boating adventures, or setting sail on a cruise.

My first investment was the Janus Fund in 1987 while in college, using money from my summer job.
