Why I Started
Riverbend Wealth Management

A practice should serve their clients first and foremost. Unfortunately, this is not always the client experience. The only way to really do this right, is create it.

Riverbend is a company that helps people make good financial decisions. Since we don’t have old legacy systems and bureaucracy, we are able to utilize industry leading technology in risk management, financial planning, and communication, just to name a few. In addition, we have the resources from one of the largest and most respected financial institution in the world today.  

We can work with your bank, your CPA, your attorney, or anyone else that may benefit you, to help you reach your goals. 

Jeremy Finger, our Founder, is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and has is Certified Investment Management Analyst certification (CIMA) from the Wharton School of Business. He has been featured on WMBF News and is a speaker at many local civic clubs.

I grew up in small town of Nichols, SC, about 1 hour from Myrtle Beach. I spend many days there, riding bikes or fishing with my dad, in the rivers and ponds in the area (hence the name Riverbend).

My dad would watch the stock market when he would come home from work. I was curious and started asking questions. This inspired me to make my first investment before I was 12 years old.

I went the College of Charleston where I focused on studies on Biology, Chemistry, and Business. Graduating in 1996, I was fortunate to be hired as a financial advisor in 1996.

I married way above myself, when Iren said “I do” in 2001. In 2004, we were blessed with Elliott our only child. He is an avid tennis player and hopes to play college tennis like his mom.

Elliott plays on the Myrtle Beach High School tennis team and I am the assistant coach. In 2019, after the passing of our legendary head coach Rivers Lynch, I became interim head coach. The Myrtle Beach Seahawk team rallied in the playoffs and won the State Championship. It was such as honor to see these young men play so inspired, for a man who was known simply by the name, Coach.

Our family enjoys traveling. We travel to Iren’s home country of Bulgaria, once a year. Elliott is fluent in Bulgarian. Me? Not so much.
