I started reading Sahil Bloom’s book, ‘The 5 Types of Wealth’.
Great book.
It is full of thought-provoking questions to help you understand where you currently are and how to prioritize your time and energy.
A few points in the book are:
- At lower levels of income, money actually CAN buy happiness by reducing financial worries and stress.
- If you are unhappy while having a higher income, more money will not likely make you happy.
- If you are already happy while having a higher income, then it is not likely that more money will make you happier.
The 5 Types of Wealth are:
- Time Wealth is freedom to choose how you spend your time.
- Social Wealth is your connection to others both personally and professionally.
- Mental Wealth is connections to a higher sense of purpose, which drives your short and long-term thinking.
- Physical Wealth is your health and vitality.
- Financial Wealth is your money, income, and resources.
Riverbend is a Wealth Management company, but my hope is that we provide you the freedom to pursue the other 4 types of wealth. That is where life lives.
